Connor Cruise First Major Film Role - Connor Cruise, the 17-year-old adopted son of actor Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman has debuted in his first major film role as a cast member of “Red Dawn.” The “Red Dawn” trailer is out and features Connor Cruise portraying a Midwestern teenage boy who is forced to defend his home from North Korean invaders.


The Hollywood Reporter reported that Connor Cruise plays a gun toting teen who joins forces with The Wolverines,( who is named after their high school mascot,) a group of young adults who fight their way through a North Korean invasion. Connor Cruise First Major Film Role,

The original 1984 “Red Dawn” film starred Patrick Swayze, C. Thomas Howell, Lea Thompson, Charlie Sheen and Jennifer Grey.

Pink Blog described the trailer of the revamped film as “definitely intense,” with Connor Cruise’s film debut appearing Connor appears midway through the trailer.

The “Red Dawn” remake stars Chris Hemsworth and Josh Peck as brothers Jed and Matt Eckert, with Connor Cruise playing Daryl Jenkins.

The movie was scheduled to be released on November 24, 2010, but was postponed due to MGM’s financial troubles, and is now set for a 2012 release, and opens in theaters on November 21.

Connor Cruise is the only son of actor Tom Cruise and has two sisters Isabella, and Suri Cruise.
