Celebrity Love Advice
Celebrity Love Advice---Love advice of the famous: In the words of Pat Benatar and Jordin Sparks, love is a battlefield. No one knows this better than celebrities who have their relationships displayed for all to see in magazines and on the Internet.
Who better to guide us in our never-ending quest for love? Check out these tips from celebrities on relationships and love. Who said celebrities were that different from us anyway?
If you’re in a romantic mood…
“Real true love is like that, where it just creeps up on you when you’re not expecting it … Love is a wonderful, complex, exciting and yet, a sometimes terrible thing.
It will take you places that you didn’t know you could go inside yourself, and sometimes you get the gold, and sometimes you don’t. In love, ANYTHING is possible. Absolutely anything.” — Kate Winslet
“Sometimes, when we’re laying together, I look at her and I feel dizzy with the realization that here is another distinct person from me, who has memories, origins, thoughts, feelings that are different from my own. That tension between familiarity and mystery meshes something strong between us.
Even if one builds a life together based on trust, attentiveness and mutual support, I think that it’s important that a partner continues to surprise.” — Barack Obama (on Michelle)
If you want to find humor in your relationship…
“Being married means I can [break wind] and eat ice cream in bed.” — Brad Pitt (on Angelina Jolie)
“He’s the funniest, smartest person I know. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t bug me and I’m sure I bug him sometimes.” — Sarah Jessica Parker (on Matthew Broderick)
“The best smell in the world is that man that you love.” — Jennifer Aniston (on Brad Pitt)
If you want to stick to what’s important in the relationship…
“Sometimes I think [my husband] is so amazing that I don’t know why he’s with me. I don’t know whether I’m good enough. But if I make him happy, then I’m everything I want to be.” — Angelina Jolie (on Brad Pitt)
“Trust is really important, just in relationships in general. I really don’t like people that aren’t real people around me at all. I don’t like people that are ‘yes’ people. I don’t like people that tell me what they think I want to hear.” — Beyonce Knowles
“I believe that when you’re in love you have to pour your heart and soul out to your partner… or why bother? So in that sense I’m an incurable romantic when it comes to men.” — Cameron Diaz
“You know it’s love when all you want is that person to be happy, even if you’re not part of their happiness.” — Julia Roberts
“Every good relationship, especially marriage, is based on respect. ?If it’s not based on respect, nothing that appears to be good will last very long.” ?— Amy Grant
“Being married you have to have a good sense of humor! It’s a very important part of my life, and my marriage.” — Kate Winslet (on former husband Sam Mendes)
“I know I would sacrifice anything for my boys [husband David and sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz], including my career, even though I also know that they would never ask me to.” — Victoria Beckham
“If you love someone, you want to treat them, surprise them, remind them how you feel, whether that means a weekend away somewhere, or a bowl of fruit in the morning laid out in the shape of a heart. I know Victoria thinks I’m romantic like that.” — David Beckham
“It [deciding whether or not to be in a relationship] takes a lot of time, commitment and a choice. I’ve chosen this path [being single], but it’s not to say I’m not open to love or whatever comes my way. You never close doors.” — Rachel McAdams

Johnny Depp Engaged To Jennifer Grey
Johnny Depp Engaged To Jennifer Grey - It has been rumored for months but now it is declared to be official: Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have broken up. The couple, who never married, confirmed their split in a brief statement given by Depp’s publicist. The American actor and the French model have been together for 14 years and they have two lovely children, Lily Rose and Jack.
“Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children,” Johnny Depp’s publicist stated. The announcement marks the end of a romance that began in 1998 when Depp and Paradis met on the set of the supernatural thriller “The Ninth Gate.”
Even though the couple never really got married, Paradis was recently spotted wearing a diamond ring which was described as the size of the Ritz according to the “Guardian.”
For years, Depp and Paradis lived with what looked like an idyllic life by traveling between their island in the Bahamas, their villa near Saint-Tropez to France and their several other homes. In 2004, Depp told OK! magazine during an interview that a deep kind of love resulting in children cannot be planned.
“Fatherhood was not a conscious decision but now I have become the perfect example of all the paternity clichés I laughed at for years. I look forward to having more children. I’d have a hundred if Vanessa were willing,” the actor shared.
However, rumors started to spread and circulate that the couple’s relationship had suffered after they moved in to California from France. Just last month, Depp even denied the talk of a split. “The rumors are not true,” he said. “I can’t say enough about it not being over,” Depp added.
Before that, Depp also had a long string of romances in the past. The actor married and then divorced makeup artist Lori Anne Allison. Depp was engaged to actresses Jennifer Grey and Sherilyn Fenn.
Then, Depp also proposed to a 17-year-old Winona Ryder back then while having a tattoo that says “Winona Forever” on his arm to which he famously had altered to “Wino Forever” after their breakup. Afterwards, Depp dated model Kate Moss for four years before meeting Vanessa Paradis.

Kim Kardashian & Boy Who Took Her Virginity
Kim Kardashian & Boy Who Took Her Virginity - Kim revealed to Oprah Winfrey that she lost her virginity at 14, to a boy she dated for years — a boy who is now being reported as Michael Jackson’s nephew, When Kim Kardashian revealed to Oprah Winfrey that she first started having sex at 14 with a boy she dated for years, the world was stunned! But little did we know who that boy was — until now!
A former Kardashian nanny, Pam Behan, released an explosive tell-all this week, Malibu Nanny, documenting her tenure with the family from 1991 to 1996. It was a time when Kim was 14-years-old and dating Michael Jackson’s nephew, TJ Jackson!
Pam wrote that Kim and TJ dated “for many years,” beginning when she was 14, which is the same description Kim gave to Oprah on Oprah’s Next Chapter when describing the boy who took her virginity!
We already know that Kim’s mom Kris Jenner groomed her kids to be famous, so was she the one who set Kim up with TJ — in hopes of her getting pregnant by a Jackson? Unfortunately, we may never know!

Demi Moore And Estranged Daughters (Video)
Demi Moore And Estranged Daughters (Video) - Demi Moore and Estranged Daughters' Prolonged Split Leaves Actress 'Devastated',Actress Demi Moore has been having problems with her family after reports that her three daughters have cut her out of their lives. The actress has been struggling ever since her divorce from Ashton Kutcher in November.
"Rumer, Scout and Tallulah just don't want to deal with the drama at the moment," a source told Radar Online. The three girls are Moore's by ex-husband Bruce Willis and have stuck by their mom through all of the ups and downs of their relationship, as well as the relationship between Moore and Kutcher.
"Since breaking up with Ashton, Demi has been a mess," the source added. "The girls were there for her through the split and the rehab, but now they just feel like they need a little distance. Demi is being very needy right now and the girls are tired of it. They want a mother not a little sister."
After Moore and Kutcher went public with their split, Moore seemed to be on a downward spiral. She collapsed and was rushed to the hospital for an "unknown illness" in January and has since been trying to rebuild her life. At the time, Moore released a statement saying she had "chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health."
Moore appeared to be recovering, but these latest reports contradict her improvement. Now that she has allegedly been cut off from her daughters, one may wonder whom she will turn to. She has had a good relationship with Willis, though he is married and has a new daughter.
"Demi is beside herself over the situation. She hasn't spoken to Scout, Rumer or Tallulah for weeks now. They won't return any of her calls, emails or texts. The girls have cut off all contact with Demi, and she is absolutely devastated by it," the source told Radar Online.

Demi Moore and Estranged Daughters
Demi Moore and Estranged Daughters – Demi Moore’s not in the best of moods recently now that her three daughters have abruptly cut her out of their lives.
Moore, 49, looks distressed in new photos snapped of the actress nearly one week after rumors surfaced about the family fallout.
In the snapshots, the actress looks frazzled as she gazes out toward the camera and momentarily shuts her eyes.
Just last week, RadarOnline reported that the actress’ daughters – Rumer, 23, Scout, 20 and Tallulah, 18 – just didn’t “want to deal with the drama at the moment” since Moore had been such “a mess” since her split from Kutcher, 34.
“The girls were there for her through it all – the split and the rehab,” the source told the site, “but now they just feel like they need a little distance.”
Moore and Kutcher famously split up last November after six years of marriage, and Moore’s mental and physical health have been in flux since then.
The sisters are “tired of walking on eggshells,” Us Weekly reports.
In January, the actress checked into rehab after she was found convulsing at her home while smoking an incense product.
“She’s been having some issues lately with some other stuff, but I don’t know what she’s been taking,” a female friend told the 911 operator in the phone recording.
The straw that broke the camel’s back for Moore’s daughters, however, was reportedly when the actress decided to attend Tallulah’s high school graduation, and sulked while the girls looked happier with dad Bruce Willis, according to RadarOnline.
Us Weekly reports that Moore simply “didn’t speak to them” and left the happy occasion before Tallulah got her diploma.
The threesome are also still close to Moore’s ex Kutcher, which may have become a sore spot for the actress.
In April, Kutcher attended Rumer’s show at the Sayers Club in Hollywood, where she sang “High Low Middle.”
Moore has pointedly moved on, in the meantime, changing her Twitter handle from “@mrskutcher” to “@justdemi” in May.

Katie Holmes Divorce Hearing
Katie Holmes Divorce Hearing - Katie Holmes denies filing for emergency custody hearing over Suri in divorce battle with Tom Cruise
Katie Holmes Divorce Hearing, Actress talks about being in a 'new phase' of her life in upcoming magazine interview - conducted weeks before spilt announcement.Katie Holmes has denied reports she filed for an emergency custody and child support following news she is divorcing Tom Cruise.
Her lawyer released a statement today following claims she had asked a judge for an 'emergent application' which would have seen her come face to face with Tom for the first time since their split was announced five days ago.
Katie, 33, has asked for sole legal custody of their six year old daughter Suri.
But her lawer Jonathan Wolfe told People.com: 'Other than her action for divorce, the only pending application filed by Ms Holmes remains her request for an anonymous caption,' he said, referring to how she wants the papers in the case to be filed anonymously.
Cruise is yet to file any legal papers. The actor turned 50 yesterday and flew from Iceland where he is filming to Los Angeles, spending the occasion with his adopted children Isabella and Conner from his marriage to Nicole Kidman.
A source told People that he want to file papers in Los Angeles, which he considers his home, rather than in New York.
The insider said that despite having an apartment in New York, the family primarily spent time in the Big Apple for work purposes.
'They don't live in New York City. It's ridiculous.' the source is quoted as saying.
It was reported earlier that a hearing for the emergent application had been set for July 17, according to HollywoodLife.com.
A source allegedly told the website: 'Katie filed an ‘emergent application’ in New York City on July 3.'
Both of the Hollywood stars, who were married for almost six years, would be required to appear in court on the aforementioned date before Judge Matthew Cooper, HollywoodLife claimed.
The website claimed Katie’s attorney Allan Mayefsky filed for the custody and child support hearing yesterday.
Well-known legal analyst and author Lisa Bloom told website The Daily Beast: ‘She's making it clear she's going to play tough. Cruise is more of a high-profile celebrity than she is, so he has a greater distance to fall if grievances are aired.
‘Everyone has dirty laundry they don't want aired. She's saying play fair with me or else. Of course she would choose an experienced and tough lawyer.
‘But the fact that she'd choose someone who's been known to go to media in the past signals that she might have hired him for that reason.’
Katie's fears that daughter Suri was set to be inducted into a hardcore Scientology organisation were the driving force behind the end of her marriage to Hollywood star Tom Cruise.
The actress was allegedly convinced husband Tom Cruise was planning to send Suri, six, away to Sea Organisation - an association of Scientologists established in 1968 by L. Ron Hubbard, the science fiction writer and founder of Scientology.
Sea Org, as it is known, is where the highest levels of Scientology are taught and children as young as five can be sent to live there - without their parents.
Meanwhile, Katie refers to entering a 'new phase' in her life, adding, 'I know where I want to go,' in a interview set to be published in the July edition of Elle magazine.
The interview was conducted in May, just six weeks before last week's divorce announcement.
According to the New York Daily News, when asked about being in her 30s, the actress says: 'I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin.'
She goes on in the article: 'I feel sexier. I think in my 20s, it’s like you’re trying too hard to figure everything out . . . I’m starting to come into my own. It’s like a new phase.'
The newspaper reports a source as saying Katie did not gush about Tom at all during the interview.
Asked about her identity as Mrs Tom Cruise, she says. 'He has been Tom Cruise for 30 years. I know who I am and where I am and where I want to go, so I want to focus on that.'
The interview hits newsstands on July 17.

Armie Hammer Occidental Petroleum
Armie Hammer Occidental Petroleum - As the heir to a vast oil fortune, the 25-year-old rising star could easily have become the kind of ultra-entitled proto-douchebag he portrayed (in duplicate) in The Social Network. Instead, Hammer—who plays J. Edgar Hoover’s longtime assistant director (and lover) in the new biopic J. Edgar—proves to be unexpectedly down-to-earth. Proof: He’s fond of the little people.
“You’ve gotta meet the dwarves,” Armie Hammer says. “I mean, the little people. The LPs. I said dwarves because it’s Snow White. Don’t ever call them dwarves. Don’t ever pat them on the head.” We’re driving around the F1 racetrack on Montreal’s Ile Notre-Dame, going 20 mph in a Dodge minivan, on our way to stunt training in a building behind the bleachers. “They’ll all just start making puke noises,” he says, “one followed by the next.
They have the most amazing rapport. They’re like a family.” Hammer, 25, pauses for effect, as he likes to do when telling stories. “And they’re such h***y bastards, too,” he continues. “Singling out women like this: ‘You know who she looks like? She looks like that girl from the LPA convention in 2008. Oh, man, she gave the best blow jobs.’”
This is Prince Charming talking, relishing an out-of-character moment. For the past three months he’s been brushing up on his noblesse oblige and playing a role that seems all but genetically determined. “If you had to draw a prince,” says Tarsem Singh, the director of the still-untitled Snow White adaptation, “you’d draw this guy. But I’m not talking about a Disney prince. With Armie, you know there are undertones.”
So far, Hammer’s one-for-one in the nuance department. His two-way rendering of the contemporary American alpha-douche in The Social Network was instantly iconic. Dropping Aaron Sorkin’s lines like Ivy League daisy cutters, Hammer portrayed Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, the identical-twin Olympic rowers who claimed that Facebook was snatched from them by their Harvard classmate Mark Zuckerberg. Hammer plays not one complete as***le but two, nailing all the physical and linguistic tics produced by the twins’ hulking sense of privilege and entitlement. When Hammer-as-Winklevoss wears a robe, it’s as if to say, This is how an as***le wears a robe. When Hammer-as-Winklevoss rips into a burger, it’s as if to say, This is how an as***le eats meat.
Armand Hammer (May 21, 1898 – December 10, 1990) was an American business tycoon most closely associated with Occidental Petroleum, a company he ran for decades, though he was known as well as for his art collection, his philanthropy, and for his close ties to the Soviet Union.
Thanks to business interests around the world and his “citizen diplomacy,” Hammer cultivated a wide network of friends and acquaintances. During his lifetime, some objected to him on the grounds that he had made an illegal campaign contribution to U.S. president Richard Nixon.
He appeared frequently on television, commenting on international relations or agitating for research into a cure for cancer. As of 2008, he has been the subject of five biographies – in 1975 (Considine, authorized biography), 1985 (Bryson, coffee table book), Weinberg 1989, Blumay 1992, and Epstein 1996 – and two autobiographies (1932 and a best seller in 1987). His art collection and his philanthropic projects were the subject of numerous publications as well.

Rashida Jones’ Father Is Composer Quincy Jones
Rashida Jones’ Father Is Composer Quincy Jones - You may recognize Rashida Jones from her starring turn in NBC’s The Office or her half a dozen other acting gigs in TV and movies, but it’s the role she was born into- the biracial Jewish daughter of music mogul Quincy Jones- that made her famous. She plays Karen Filipelli on NBC’s The Office, but Rashida Jones hasn’t an ounce of Italian in her. The daughter of Mod Squad beauty Peggy Lipton and composer/music mogul Quincy Jones, she’s biracial and Jewish, a “double whammy” of a distinction that she has found challenging and liberating at different times in her life.
Growing up in progressive privilege in Los Angeles, Jones “didn’t have much cognizance of the fact that I was different. My parents were kind of hippies and I went to a Montessori school [where] everyone had different religions and cultural backgrounds. I had Jewish friends, I had black friends, I had Asian friends. So it didn’t really occur to me that it was odd in any way,” she explains. “The differences, or the way people related to them, didn’t really strike me until college.” Celebs Who Come From Money,
Arriving at Harvard, she became aware of the effect her uniqueness had on people, as well as her status as a daughter of the famous. “College is a time when you’re trying to individualize and distinguish yourself from others and create your own subculture, and that was hard for me because I wanted to be part of the black community. I was for a while,” Jones recalls. “Then I had kind of an alienating experience. It wasn’t really about being Jewish. It was more the way I looked. I was lighter and my hair was straighter and lighter. It was this tacit understanding that the lighter you are, the harder you have to try to be more committed to being black. That wasn’t part of my constitution as a human being. For me it was just about what I identified with. I wasn’t really in the practice of having to prove myself to anybody. I was definitely scared off because there were a couple of girls who didn’t like me and made me work really hard for friendship. [But] it was good in a sense because with every step of alienation I realized that my identity is truly my own.”
Ironically, Jones had “identified strongly with black culture” in high school and considered that criteria in her college choice, but in the end found her niche with Jewish friends. “Junior year, I started dating a guy who was Conservative and had an Orthodox brother and practiced more than I did, was more devout than I was,” she explains. “We had a group of friends who were Jewish so I naturally gravitated towards that culturally and religiously, which was cool because I didn’t have a bat mitzvah. I left Hebrew school when I was 10 because the girls were kind of snotty and I hadn’t gone back to exploring it. Being biracial and Jewish, I’m kind of given permission to explore whatever culture goes along with that. If I were just black and not Jewish I wouldn’t have had that entrée.”
Jones, whose mother grew up in an observant home in Lawrence, New York, has fond memories of Jewish celebrations of her youth. “We always celebrated the High Holidays. I did fast in high school for Yom Kippur and attend services. We always went to seder for Passover. I really liked the cultural and the familial side of Judaism. It was always the most comfortable place for me, making time for family and community.”
When she was 10, Jones attended a Passover seder at Beverly Hills’ Chasen’s restaurant. “I remember I found the afikomen and I got $100, which at the time was a ridiculous amount of money. I was actually happier about the candy I got than the money,” she laughs, noting that she traditionally celebrates the holiday with good family friends, the Ostins. “My memories of Jewish holidays were associated with them and have always had that positive aspect, very comforting,” she notes.
While she sometimes regrets not having a bat mitzvah, it doesn’t diminish her faith. “In this day and age, you can choose how you practice and what is your relationship with God. I feel pretty strongly about my connection, definitely through the Jewish traditions and the things that I learned dating the guy that I dated. My boyfriends tend to be Jewish and also be practicing,” she muses. “I don’t see it as a necessity, but there’s something about it that I connect with for whatever reason. I think it probably has a lot to do with my mom, the way I grew up, and the family friends that we had and the paradigm that I saw of family life and what I would want for myself, and that was all kind of interconnected.”
These days Jones lives in New York and commutes to L.A. to work, and calls The Office “my favorite job that I’ve ever had.” She once dated co-star John Krasinski, but insists that it was “pure coincidence” that she was cast as a love interest for him, though she knew that was the plot going in.
While her credits include TV dramas like Wanted and Boston Public, Jones enjoys and gravitates toward comedy and is proudest of her work on The Office, Chappelle’s Show, and a guest spot on Freaks & Geeks, for which she’s still recognized. She’s currently spending time shooting two films in New York.
Constantly told she looks too light to play African American, and rarely cast in period pieces because, she explains, “people like me didn’t exist,” Jones admits it’s “been a bit of an uphill battle to be somewhere in the middle.” On the other hand, “it gives me a tiny bit more range, and because I don’t look like one thing or fit into one thing, the people who do cast me understand me as an individual and what I have to offer as opposed to what I look like and how it fits into their mold,” she says, noting that casting opportunities are slowly becoming more colorblind, and as society becomes more multi-cultural, Jones predicts, “More and more you will see people look like me, where you don’t know what race they are, which is nice.”
Otherwise, she enjoys being something of a chameleon. “I can immerse myself in the cultures and pick and choose what I want and then just be myself. I have all these different groups of friends. The nature of who I am and the fact that I am so many things allows me to float,” explains Jones, who feels strongly connected to both her black and Jewish cultures.
“I have a great family,” she says, “but because my grandparents passed away and my cousins live in Texas, the Jewish family element is harder to come by and I have to make more of an effort to keep in touch.” More than anything, she notes, music is what bonds her to her black heritage. “The nice thing about my dad, his connection to music is, even after 50 years, a heart process for him and it’s a really nice way for us to connect.”
Jones, who has sung backup on several albums including Maroon 5’s Songs About Jane, hopes to record an album at some point. “I can’t ignore it. It’s definitely a passion,” she says of music. She became interested in performing at a young age. “I was a really precocious child and I did everything — music and acting — and I was a very good student. I went to college thinking I wanted to be a lawyer and then was very quickly disillusioned watching the O.J. Simpson trial. I started doing theater sophomore year. I realized that if it was something that I loved why should I treat it as an extra-curricular if I could actually excel at it? And I thought I would give it a shot.”
Her parents were supportive, offering advice “both solicited and unsolicited but all incredibly helpful. My mom has pretty much helped me with every audition that I’ve ever had,” Jones reflects. Taking the reins of her career, she recently produced the indie comedy The Ten, “loosely based on the Ten Commandments. I have a really tiny part,” she notes.
Another venture is a clothing line called Laloo, so named for the way her goddaughter pronounces “I love you.” Its launch this month will start on the Internet and in several boutiques with kits of three cotton shirts: tank top and short and long sleeve tees.
A believer in giving back to the community like her role model Oprah Winfrey, Jones devotes time to Peace Games, a charity that helps prevent violence by educating kids about resolving conflicts non-physically, starting in kindergarten. As for the notion she might inspire multi-cultural youth, “I never really see myself as a role model but if I can inspire anyone to feel better about themselves or move forward in their careers,” she says, “I’m happy to do that.”
Asked what else is on her to-do list, Jones, who keeps limber with Pilates, would “love to run a marathon at some point in my life.” She also wants to have a family “some day soon,” but she’s happily unattached at the moment. “I spent so much of my life not being single that it’s actually refreshing. I find the value in my life comes from my friends and family and I feel very at peace with myself,” she reflects. “I’m not in a rush to get anywhere. That’s good for me. I feel lucky that I’ve had the opportunities that I have and that I get to travel and work. I’m kind of going with the flow right now.”

Kate Middleton Humiliated By Queen Elizabeth II
Kate Middleton Humiliated By Queen Elizabeth II---During Queen Elizabeth''s Diamond Jubilee celebration in June, Kate Middleton appeared to be fully embraced as a member of the royal family ... only to receive the equivalent of a DIRECT SLAP IN THE FACE from the BITTER QUEEN herself!
Yes, Life & Style claims that one of the longest-reigning monarchs in European history is jealous of Kate Middleton. How, you ask, was Kate supposedly dissed and dismissed?
In an official revision to the Royal Household''s Order of Precedence, Kate is required to curtsy to Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson''s two daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, as they''re both considered blood princesses.
Whereas Kate merely married into the royal family, obviously.
"It''s a total humiliation for Kate," a source in Kate and William''s social circle says. "It''s like a demotion for her, and the queen is the one who ordered this."
When William''s with her, no curtsy is necessary, but if she encounters them without her husband, she has to bow down, in public or private. Degrading.
"These queen''s moves are designed to remind Kate that just because she''s popular, she isn''t as important as any other royal-born family member," the friend says.
The horror? What''s next, calling Kate Middleton a gold digger?

Kourtney Kardashian Gained 40 Pounds Pregnancy
Kourtney Kardashian gained 40 pounds pregnancy - She has been seen sporting a very large baby bump as she gets nearer and nearer to her delivery date next month. And now Jessica Simpson has revealed to Hello! magazine that she has put on a bountiful 40 pounds during her pregnancy. The 31-year-old told the magazine in their latest issue that she has been pleased to take time off dieting. ‘I had a great pregnancy.
Eating and not having to worry too much about it has been fun,’ she said. ‘Taking a break from working out has definitely been fun. But I’m ready for it to be over. I’m ready to have my body back!’ Jessica, who appears to have been pregnant for much longer than her three trimesters, told the magazine that she can’t wait to deliver her unborn son or daughter. ‘I feel like I could pop at any second,’ she said.
The singer recently celebrated her impending motherhood with a baby shower at her Los Angeles home. Jessica told Hello! magazine that the bash, which was attended by the likes of Jessica Alba and her sister Ashlee Simpson, had a Charlotte’s Web theme. The E.B. White book was Jessica’s favourite fictional story growing up.
During the celebrations, the woman played games and enjoyed several activities including guessing the size the size of Jessica’s bump and knitting lessons. The get together wasn’t just for adults only: the guest list also had the who’s who of celebrity offsprings. Alba brought her daughter, Haven, seven months, and Ashlee brought her son Bronx, three. Following the party, Jessica opened her lavish gifts with fiance Eric Johnson.

How Did Warren Beatty And Annette Bening Meet
How Did Warren Beatty And Annette Bening Meet - The wedding between Warren Beatty and Annette Bening came to people as a very big surprise. Many people predicted that it would not last, especially with the difference of 21 years in age between the two of them. I was one of the few who thought it would last and they’ll be needing some baby shower favors soon enough!
Warren Beatty and Annette met in 1991 when they had a lunch meeting in a Pizza restaurant in San Pietro to discuss on the movie Bugsy which was to stare both of them. It was in a restaurant close to Warren’s Beverly Hills office. For him, it must have been love at first site as he immediately knew on seeing Annette, that she was the one for him. For Annette, it was just another meeting with the focus being the job at hand. Never did she feel that she was meeting with the man with whom she was going to spend the rest of her life.
Warren Beatty
Warren Beatty who is also known as Henry Warren Beatty was born on March 30, 1937. He was born in Richmond, Virginia. Warren is an actor, a producer, director, a writer and a screenwriter.
Annette Bening
Annette, full name – Annette Francine Bening was born on May 29, 1958. She was born in Topeka, Kansas. Annette was previously married to J. Steven White. They wedded on May 26, 1984 and separated in 1986 but finally divorced in 1991.
Their Wedding
Annette and Warren had a private wedding on March 3, 1992 and it was made public on March 12, 1992. Their maids of honor was their daughter named kathlyn who was two months old at the time.
The marriage is blessed with four children. They are Kathlyn Beatty Bening who was born 1992, Beatty J. Benjamin who was born 1994, Isabel Beatty who was born 1997 and Ella Beatty who was born in 2000.
They lived in a house which was designed by Warren 12 years right before their marriage. Warren’s marriage to Annette came as a surprise because his friends never expected that he would one day get married. Peter Evans claimed that Warren had once told him of how he (Warren) shied away from marriage because he was not ready for commitments and because of his weakness for infidelity. But suddenly Warren felt the need to start a family of his own and he realized that time was no longer on his side.
Luckily that was when he met Annette. And on a side note, our bridal shower favors and wedding favors would have been perfect for the wedding with Annette, Warren never had a problem with marriage neither did he have any fears about having children. He felt safe with her and trusted her personality, her intellect and her disposition towards love. He had spent a large part of his life having nice times and he realized it was time to settle down with someone he could love and spend the rest of his life with, and that turned out to be Annette.
Warren bought a beautiful flower-petal pendant for Annette to mark their 10th wedding anniversary. It was a 19th century choker from Neil Lane in Los Angeles. It had four petals made with red garnets edged about with diamonds. The four petals symbolized their four children Kathy, Ben, Isabel and Ella who were aged 10, 7, 5 and 1 respectively as at the time.

Regis And Joy Philbin Married 41 Years
Regis And Joy Philbin Married 41 Years - “Mom, Dad-don’t say anything. You’ve waited a long time for this, so now I’m going to tell you what it is I want to do for the rest of my life. Come with me.”
It was these words that greeted Regis Philbin’s parents as they arrived on the Notre Dame campus on a stormy spring day in 1953. Twenty-one-year-old Regis Francis Xavier Philbin had been anticipating their arrival and was eager to break the news that, after four years spent pursuing a sociology degree at one of the most prestigious universities in the country, Philbin wanted to be a singer.
Specifically, he wanted to be Bing Crosby.
And so began a somewhat tense walk across the Notre Dame campus for the three Philbins, ending outside of a rehearsal room that Regis had spent the last two weeks in, practicing for this big moment. Once inside, he began to sing the chorus of “Pennies from Heaven” . . . and his mom started to cry. Things were looking good.
The song ended, and the silence in the room began. And just like any worthwhile story, the day would eventually end drastically different than what Philbin had pictured. In fact, he would end up going to the Navy before ever reaching the doorstep of Hollywood.
But what did occur in that room was substantial, because it was in that rehearsal room that Philbin says he finally mustered up the confidence to change the trajectory of the rest of his life, and begin the journey of one of the most storied careers of any entertainer.
Since then, Philbin has accomplished much and continued to thank all who have helped him get to where he is today. But out of all the celebrities and dignitaries he has come to know, perhaps no one person has received as much credit for his success as has the hallowed halls of the University of Notre Dame.
He’s passionate about it . . . and with over five decades in show business, he’s been eager to share his love for Notre Dame with anyone who would listen. Granted, his love transcends many people’s understanding. Yet, Philbin continues on with his vocal gratitude for everyone from the coaches that taught him to the classrooms where he made the crucial decisions that would affect the rest of his life.
After leaving the wildly successful Live with Regis and Kelly this past November, Philbin once again finds himself at a crossroads of sorts. At an age when most men have stored their ties away and gotten to know their recliner as well as the wife and family, Philbin remains in the public eye, constantly looking forward to what still just might be on the horizon.
During a recent book tour in support of his new memoir How I Got This Way, Philbin sat down with Shore magazine to talk about all that he has learned, and now . . . what he wants to teach the rest of us.
“I am the beneficiary of a lot of amazing things that I learned at Notre Dame, but unfortunately I didn’t take advantage of my college career,” he explains from a cramped room filled with television cameras and print journalists. “I just didn’t have the confidence. I couldn’t tell anyone back then what I wanted to do with my life . . . and having no confidence certainly was a tough way to start out a career in television. But through it all, I’ve always been proud that everything that has occurred in my life is because I went after it myself. I worked like a dog and slowly things began to develop on all different levels of my life.”
At the age of 80, Philbin is still the epitome of class and integrity. He has a wrinkled, yet still sculpted face and a perfectly tied tie. But in recent years, Philbin has struggled physically. A triple-bypass heart surgery in 2007 and a hip replacement in 2009 could have been reason enough to slow down. Yet, despite it all, Philbin says that daily workouts and his nightly escapades are his key to staying young, both physically and mentally.
“I think working out has really paid off for me through the years,” says Philbin, who has been married to his wife Joy for the past 41 years. “When I was doing [Live with Regis and Kelly], those first 20 minutes partly relied on me telling the viewers what I had been up to the night before. So, there were many times that that would be the reason that I would force myself to go and enjoy a show on Broadway or go out to dinner somewhere. I was always looking for something to talk about the next day.”
Indeed, stories have long made up the fabric of Philbin’s incredible life, with many focusing on his longtime friend and Hoosier, David Letterman. When asked who would win in a celebrity boxing match, Philbin’s eyes lit up. “I’d cold c**k him . . . BANG!” he says in his recognizable and emotion-filled voice. “Aw, who am I kidding? He has the range and the reach . . . plus he can run five miles and I can’t.”
And while he continues to have the uncanny ability to make any story funny, Philbin does have a serious side, seldom seen by many. In fact, he often refers back to a story regarding childhood hero Bing Crosby that seemed to teach him one of his most important, yet painful lessons. “As a little boy, I was crazy about the voice of Bing Crosby,” he recalls. “I loved the sound of his voice and when I met him, it meant a lot to me. He inspired me to get into show business. He was once a guest on The Joey Bishop Show and I really couldn’t believe I was sitting next to him.”
In 1977, Bing Crosby dropped dead of a heart attack at the age of 74. “You know what? I never took the opportunity to thank him for what he did for me, and that’s one lesson that I can highly recommend to everyone. Thank the person that you have learned from, because once they die, you will feel terrible that you didn’t.”
Silence suddenly fills the room. Philbin stops for a moment. “Let’s talk about Notre Dame again, huh?” he asks.
Indeed, while some may assume that the life lessons he learned in South Bend were via the teachers who taught him, it was really the coaches that gave him the nuggets of advice that he has carried in his suit pocket all of these years. “I have found that many times, the coaches mean more to the students than the actual teachers themselves,” Philbin explains, citing Notre Dame legends such as Frank Leahy, Ara Parseghian and Lou Holtz. “Now you can say that that’s unfortunate and it certainly doesn’t mean they were bad teachers, but it’s just that there were certain coaches at Notre Dame that, during their time, meant a great deal to those students. They taught them more about being good students and how it was important to take advantage of their education. Even in my later years, I can appreciate what they were teaching me.”
Undoubtedly, the shaky Notre Dame football program of late has caused Philbin much frustration. “When I talk about Notre Dame, most of the time it has been about their football program,” says Philbin, who visits the university two or three times a year. “But for the last twenty years or so, it’s been a bit of a problem since Lou Holtz left, but they are getting a little better. This new coach [Brian Kelly] seems as if he might able to do something for them.”
These days, Philbin says he’s thankful that his new memoir allowed him the time to look back at all he has accomplished. But rest assured, there is much more ahead for this dynamic personality. “Hindsight can be a great gift,” he concludes. “All of us have met people in our lives that impress us and that make a difference in the way you live your life.”
