Carey revealed the news on Twitter this morning, posting an accompanying photo of her hubby in a hospital bed and her showing off her doting bedside manner. nick cannon hospitalized,
"Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman," she tweeted before further elaborating on the "serious moment" in a blog post. america's got talent,
And what a difference a year makes. nick cannon birthday,
"This is us in the hospital—role reversal," she wrote. "Last year it was me attached to the machines and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are.
"We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. They tried to kick me out of the hospital but here I am pon de bed with Mr. C."
Mariah went on to write that they're making the best of the situation, though didn't reveal how long the 31-year-old was expected to remain in the hospital or what type of condition or progress he was making.
And while she did her best to make light of the situation, she did note that it was a serious matter.
"We're doing OK but we're 'straaaaaanded in Aspen. #DramaticDivaPlace but the truth is as long as we're together, we're OK. I'm not trying to make light out of the situation because it's a serious moment that's very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers."
